Adobe Creative Cloud — This is our daily resource for everything from image and video editing to create quality design assets for our websites and marketing. It’s the industry standard for anyone looking to create and manage their design and brand.

Canva — Canva uses a drag-and-drop design can be used by non-designers as well as professionals. The tools can be used for both web and print media design and graphics.

PicMonkey — PicMonkey is an in-browser photo editing software which is highly recommended for bloggers and Instagram users. Its interface is very simple, enabling you to create blog graphics and edit photos quickly.

Adobe Photoshop Elements – Adobe Photoshop Elements is for entry-level image editors It contains most of the features of the professional version but with fewer and simpler options.

GIMP – GIMP offers a wide toolset, similar to Photoshop in many ways, and is a great option if you’re looking for a no-cost image editor.

Pixlr – Pixlr is a free Photoshop alternative that boasts more than 600 effects, overlays and borders.

Mobile Editing Apps

Procreate — For any creative working on their iPad or iPhone who draws, sketches, paints, or creates visual art, Procreate is one of our favorites. The app gives artists the familiar experience of making art with pens, pencils, and paint on paper.

Facetune — Facetune is a photo editing application used to edit, enhance, and retouch photos on your mobile device.

Snapseed — Snapseed is a photo-editing app by Google, that enables you to enhance photos and apply digital filters.

A Color Story – Named ‘Best New App’ by Apple, A Color Story focuses on fresh photos and video, editing styles, and colors. Rather than forcing you into a single look.

Over – Over is a social media branding tool, photo editor, poster maker, and more. Choose from thousands of modern templates, filters and custom fonts.

Video Editing

Camtasia — One of our favorite all-in-one programs, Camtasia makes it simple to record your screen, edit and create professional-looking videos to share with your audience.

iMovie — Whether you’re using a Mac or an iOS device, Apple makes it easy to edit and create your videos. You can choose your clips, then add titles, music, and effects.

Adobe Premiere Elements — Adobe Premiere Elements is a scaled-down version of Adobe Premiere Pro and is tailored to novice editors.

Movie Maker – Windows video editing software that helps you make movies from your photos, video clips, and music.

Adobe Premiere – Like it’s sibling, Premier Elements, Adobe Premier is one of the most popular but it’s also geared towards professional video editing.

Final Cut Pro – Final Cut Pro X is Apple’s professional-level video editing software, bringing a wealth of power for both pros and enthusiasts alike.

Adobe After Effects – Adobe After Effects is used for digital visual effects, motion graphics and post-production of your videos.

Presentation Programs

Keynote — Keynote is Apple’s answer to PowerPoint. You can include various image and multimedia editing to create your own unique brand of presentations.

PowerPoint — PowerPoint allows you to create customizable and animated presentations.

Prezi – Prezi is a presentation tool that can be used as an alternative to traditional slide making programs such as PowerPoint.
