A Lion Within

Journal Lesson

Create your spirit animal with this fun class using acrylics and oils, and learn an easy transfer method if drawing isn't your strength!

I loved creating this lion spirit animal piece. It was so fun to jump into the painting with both acrylics and then oils. I truly encourage you to give it a go! I have never painted a lion before so this was a wonderful new experience for me. Remember, if you are wanting to focus on painting but you are not yet able to draw very accurately, try using the transfer method I demonstrate. Don’t let yourself that you are somehow cheating. That’s that pesky inner critic talking! Just ENJOY creating your spirit animal piece!

I will note that although I didn’t achieve the Isabel Bishop look I was originally going for, I’m inspired to try again and study her style more thoroughly. ;) Try, try again!
