Begin your journey eleven years ago with visions of eyes in abstracts and evolve into expressive face painting. Learn to appreciate every stroke and find joy in the unexpected, pushing artistic boundaries while being gentle with yourself. This course isn't just about techniques; it's about embracing art journaling as a sanctuary for experimentation, relaxation, and personal expression, where you free yourself from expectations and let your creativity flow freely on any medium. Join us to find peace and reenergize through art.

  • A large open spread 16.5"x12" (42x30cm)) A piece of paper will work fine. There is no requirements when it comes to paper quality or preparations of the book. I always start with paper collage and matte medium. This makes the pages strong and the surface perfect to paint and draw on.
  • An old book to pull pages from or other scraps of papers from personal collections, old magazines, scrapbook paper, letters etc.
  • Acrylic Matte Medium to use as glue (I use Liquitex, Matte Medium)
  • Acrylic Paints, I will use Titanium white, Ivory white, Van Dyke Brown, Black, and some other color
  • A hard tool to move the paint and use for collage (Palette knife or an old credit card)
  • An assortment of small paint brushes
  • Stamps, stencils, skewers and other mark-making tools
  • A pencil and/or charcoal for sketching. I will use a Black Stabilo All,  Aquarellable, (paper, glass, plastic and metal).
  • Water Spray Bottle
  • Rags
