Capturing Beauty

I often wonder about the creative process of artists and designers, what inspired them and how their imagination and gifts brought so much beauty into the world. I want to know more about their creative process what may have inspired them to capture something so beautiful. In this class, we will look to our favorite artists, fashion illustrators, vintage fashion, along with our work to fuel our imaginations.

For me, it is all about collecting the ideas that meander through my mind — combined with a collection of beautiful images, textures, and colors to fuel my imagination.  I will share these creative practices with you throughout the class as we make beautiful art together.

I believe that by taking the time to collect your ideas, gather inspiration, and dream of the work you want to create is an essential part of the creative process.  If you want to overcome creative hurdles, stay on the path to developing your voice as an artist devote yourself to your ideas and your art. You have a deep well of creativity and when you do the work day after day,  you will unlock your potential and create genuinely authentic work.
