Encaustic Treasures

Journal Lesson

Explore mixed media art and develop your unique style as you learn from diverse techniques and joyful doodling.

When I discovered the joy of mixed media art in around 2016 a whole new world opened up to me. Since then I have been testing out lots of different mediums, taking many of the classes by such talented teachers here on Studioworks Creative Academy. In the beginning I followed along very closely and studied every new technique with much fascination. Slowly, over the last year or so my own style has begun to develop and they do say that what brings us joy when we are children comes back to us. You will understand this as you see me doodling in this lesson!

To make the background

  • Student grade mountboard. A3 sheets
