Grounded In The Garden

Learn to paint expressive watercolor portraits and flowers, feeling the grounding effect of art.

I am excited to share with you some of my techniques I use when painting expressive watercolor portraits and flowers.

I love painting faces and flowers so I thought this pairing would be perfect for a class.

I encourage you to take a walk outside and enjoy the beautiful nature all around you.  If you have your own garden space this is the perfect spot to sit and just let your mind and body absorb the beauty.  Take your shoes off and feel the earth or fill your hands with dirt.  This is called Grounding.  Grounding is an exercise that connects you energetically to the earth.  It allows you to be more authentically in your body, in the present moment, and receive nourishing energy.

I believe we receive these same benefits when doing art.  I think as you work through each lesson you will feel the healing power of art as well as the stress relief art offers.  So lets get Grounded in the Garden together.
