Join Ivy in this mixed media workshop where we will be creating two elaborate projects - a whimsical portrait and a dreamy landscape! Don’t fret if you’ve never painted a face before – I have some great tricks to share with you! Through a combination of collage, image transfer and painting, a lovely and unique portrait will emerge!

A muse, goddess, fairy or maybe even a self portrait – you decide!

Colorless Blender Marker by Chartpak*
Hake Brushes (or natural fiber brushes)*
Mini griddle or regular size griddle*
Wax paper*
Disposable metal tin or small tin can (tuna tins work great)*
Clay tools for carving into wax
Joint Compound (plaster)*
Small spackle knife (a large palette knife could work too)*
6” - 8” taping knife
150 grit sandpaper
*2 canvas board or wood boards*
Pan pastels
Gellatos or oil pastels or oil sticks
Collage materials - assorted vintage papers, ephemera, scrapbook paper etc.*
Matte Medium Fluid*
Water mixable oils (use acrylics if you don’t have these or don’t care to use them)
Linseed Oil*
Assorted brushes*
