Dare To Play

Start your creative journey with our Mixed Media Art class, focusing on the process and personal growth.

I am so happy to see you here and I am very excited to once again share my magic world of Mixed Media Art with you. I hope you are doing OK in these trying times and that you are allowing yourselves time to ‘feed’ yourself emotionally, spiritually and physically.

I think it is really important that we regularly recharge ourselves with energy. We all have our own different ways to achieve and manage this. The challenge is to actually give yourself the time and to start, to pick up a brush and make the first strokes. There are always a hundred reasons why not to, but there is only one reason TO start – and that is you!

In this class I’ll lay out a simple and relaxed process with a number of tricks and steps to get going. I will show you how to just START even though you are lacking inspiration. I focus on how to create just for the sake of creating, how to focus on your journey and your energy rather than the result. Together we will find ways to be brave and to do art just for us and our souls …because when you do, I know you will create some magic and you won’t stop!  Your energy will shift, and you will be a magnet for ideas, insights and inspiration. It might take time but I will help you to find ways start, to not give up, to keep going, and create.

My process is unstructured, tactile and yes a little messy too! So here we go. This class is all about the beauty of process and our work will expand and grow as we go! I have seen this blossom in my own creations and I’m so excited to share it with you!

I hope you Dare to Play!
